㈠ 求电影《真情无价》(one true thing)的英文观后感！

Sometimes, the performance of one actor can elevate a mediocre script to the level of solid entertainment. This is a phenomenon we see again and again, and One True Thing is just the latest example. Perhaps surprisingly, however, that performance does not come from veteran screen presence Meryl Streep, who plays a woman dying of cancer. Streep is good in the role, but, frankly, this is the kind of part she could play in her sleep. Likewise, Oscar winner William Hurt is solid, but not spectacular. The one who rivets our attention with her pouty expression and subtle demonstrations of pain is Ren闲 Zellweger, showing an extension of the talent she exhibited in both Jerry Maguire and The Whole Wide World.
Zellweger is Ellen Gulden, an ambitious young writer working for a New York-based magazine. When the film opens, it's 1988, and Ellen is being questioned in connection with the death of her mother. Kate Gulden (Streep), a beloved member of a small upper New York state community, died in her sleep at the age of 48. At the time, she was suffering from advanced, terminal cancer, but the cause of death was a morphine overdose. Also under suspicion is Kate's husband, George (Hurt), a local college professor.
The story graally evolves in flashback, showing Ellen's sometimes-contentious relationship with her mother and her unswerving devotion to her father. When Kate's condition is diagnosed, George pleads with Ellen to quit her job and come home to help around the house. Apparently, George is too busy at work, Ellen's younger brother, Brian (Tom Scott Everett), is away at college, and a nurse "won't do." Somewhat resentfully, Ellen agrees to return to the nest. Soon, she finds herself losing her own identity as her mother's lifestyle swallows her up.
One True Thing is based on a novel by Anna Quindlen, and director Carl Franklin (Devil in a Blue Dress) has chosen to model the movie as a tearjerker, albeit a superior one. There are plenty of moments of sentimental melodrama (making Kleenexes a mandatory accessory), but there are also instances of surprisingly keen character insight. Although George, Kate, and Ellen start out as stereotypes, they quickly evolve beyond that baseline level. Ellen is like a wounded animal, lashing out in all directions, seeking a target. George's self-assurance is a carefully-constructed illusion. And Kate is all too aware of what's going on around her. "There's nothing that you know about your father that I don't know -- and better," she tells her daughter at one point. The relationships between these indivials are suitably complex; there are no clear-cut boundaries separating love, admiration, and resentment. And the issue of euthanasia is handled sensitively and intelligently, without the film makers getting on a pulpit to preach down to us.
Ellen is clearly at the film's emotional center. It has been her life's goal to become like her father. She has always been in awe of him - a big shot writer with a prize to prove it. By following in his footsteps, she has sought to earn his love, but all she gets is a rather unflattering commentary about what her writing lacks. In the process, Ellen's personality becomes a mirror image of George's. She is so cold and withdrawn that one character remarks that ambition is her religion. Only in the end does Ellen see that in focusing so completely on capturing her father's affection and approbation, she has effectively done the same thing to Kate that George did to her. One True Thing is as much about Ellen's growth as it is about family relationships.
One of Franklin's few missteps is to structure the movie using the framing device of Ellen's questioning by the local authorities. There doesn't seem to be any compelling reason to present the story this way, and the constant fractures in the narrative are irritating. Every time we're really getting involved in the plot, there's a sudden break, and we're in the "present," listening as Ellen answers another of the police chief's questions.
One True Thing will undoubtedly be pigeonholed as a "chick flick," and it's not an unreasonable classification. Like Terms of Endearment, the movie deals with the two issues most likely to draw raves from the average female viewer: a well-defined mother/daughter relationship and a slow death. However, I would argue that One True Thing is a little less overt than Terms in its approach to these issues, and that makes it a less cloying experience. There's no denying that One True Thing is affecting, and, although the plot rarely excels, the actors bring enough to their roles to transform this motion picture into a satisfying weeper.

Plot summary:
Peter Parker is a high school student. By accident, he is bitted by a genetically-altered spider and after that, he found that he gains the strange power of spider. Therefore, he uses his power to fight crime. However, Norman Osborn with the new source of energy has become an enemy of Spider-man, Green Goblin. Spider-man needs to fight with Green Goblin, but he confuses as Norman Osborn is the father of his best friend. On the other hand, Peter Parker struggles to fall in love with Mary Jane.

My opinions:
I like this film because its fight scenes are great and the animation in Spider-man is impressive, especially the part of Spider-man flying in the sky, it looks realistic. The music in Spider-man made me feel excited. However, the part about the love between Peter Parker and Mary Jane is quite boring. Besides, I like the story of the film, it is outstanding and teaches me “With great power comes great responsibility.” We have our own responsibilities in our life and now, my responsibility is to work hard.

The film starts a panda named Po (voice of Jack Black), who is so fat he can barely get out of bed. He works for his father, Mr. Ping (James Hong) in a noodle shop, which features Ping's legendary Secret Ingredient. How Ping, apparently a stork or other billed member of the avian family, fathered a panda is a mystery, not least to Po, but then the movie is filled with a wide variety of creatures who don't much seem to notice their differences.

They live in the beautiful Valley of Peace with an ancient temple towering overhead, up zillions of steps, which the pudgy Po can barely climb. But climb them he does, dragging a noodle wagon, because all the people of the valley have gathered up there to witness the choosing of the Dragon Warrior, who will engage the dreaded Tai Lung (Ian McShane) in kung-fu combat. Five contenders have been selected, the "Furious Five": Monkey (Jackie Chan), Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Crane (David Cross). Tigress looks like she might be able to do some serious damage, but the others are less than impressive. Mantis in particular seems to weigh about an ounce, tops. All five have been trained (for nearly forever, I gather) by the wise Shifu, who with Dustin Hoffman's voice is one of the more dimensional characters in a story that doesn't give the others a lot of depth. Anyway, it's up to the temple master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim), an ancient turtle, to make the final selection, and he chooses -- yes, he chooses the hapless and pudgy Po.

The story then becomes essentially a series of action sequences, somewhat undermined by the fact that the combatants seem unable to be hurt, even if they fall from dizzying heights and crack stones open with their heads. There's an extended combat with Tai Lung on a disintegrating suspension bridge (haven't we seen that before?), hand-to-hand-to-tail combat with Po and Tai Lung, and upstaging everything, an energetic competition over a single mpling.

"Kung Fu Panda" is not one of the great recent animated films. The story is way too predictable, and truth to tell, Po himself didn't overwhelm me with his charisma. But it's elegantly drawn, the action sequences are packed with energy, and it's short enough that older viewers will be forgiving. For the kids, of course, all this stuff is much of a muchness, and here they go again.

Mr. A Gan has his own perseverance, keeping on running without of any reason, JUST RUNS. He said: “Man has t look forward, and never encumbered by foretime. I thank that's the meaning of my running.” Say goodbye to foretime and don't stay in-place. Although so many people in the world are used to follow others and few people can stick to one thing, Mr. A Gan does and becomes “GOD”. There is another character Captain Dan. Dan lost his legs in Vietnarm War. He said that his fate is death in war. However, Mr. A Gan saved him and let him be alive. After losing legs, Dan was decadent and disgusted with life, complaining that A

Gan shouldn't save him. When he adjusted his mind, living on fishing with A Gan, he started to enjoy the wonderful life and thank A Gan's help. The movie is intended to tell people that life is wonderful by this character. Rainbow is always after cloud. The key point is that whether we have a good mind and an opportunity to ourselves to change bad situation. The movie is also sent such a message to us: do well what we should do, and life will return us well. There will be a miracle if only there is perseverance.

my personal favorite "101D" medium is Disney's "101 Dalmatians: the Series". It combines many themes of the existing material (Dodie Smith book, 1961 and 1996 movies). But still does its own things, too.

Our main pups include brave Lucky, who gets a strong personality mirroring his character in the book, lovable Rolly, the gourmand of the pups, and sweet little Cadpig, who is the true runt of the litter. Also there is Spot the chicken, who longs to be a dog. I find them all extremely amiable and enjoyable to watch. They are usually foiling Cruella's schemes for their land, or outwitting Lt. Pug (I'll get to him later), or sneaking into Grutely, or...just having fun, making a very likable show.

movie were good in some cases but bad in others.The same characters were

physically fit.The overall moral was the same just not as clear.Rachael

differed from the book because it was in black and white.The school
scenes were important they give insight on how the school was
built.Another scenes that were deleted was the Dolphis Raymond scene
were Dill drinks the coke that is supposed to be booze.lphus Raymond it
wasn抰 a big deal though because he really didn抰 play a huge role
anyways,just shows how people had to find away to not be ridiculed by
others for liking bad people.Scout is a bit different that I thought I
thought she would be bigger and more mature,in the story she acts really
childish.
There were scenes omitted from the book were unnoticed
some were missed.The director made the choice to delete these characters
for a reason the only one that affected the book was Aunt Alexandra.

I am surprised about the negative comments that some people made on this web-page. I can see how some people might not experience the same kind of uplift or joy that most of us lived through when seeing the movie. But that some viewers felt insulted and betrayed because the movie did not depict "reality" as it really was or is, is not fair.

I must concur with my fellow proponents of the movie -- it was a great and very satisfying movie. It provided me with something that everyone in one or another shape or form needs -- Hope. The movie showed the cruelty of life and yet managed to shed some light and insight into the beauty of love and life in general.

I urge anyone who has not seen La Vita è bella to go out there and watch it. If we all take with us just little bit of that hope and love that this movie is trying to convey; this world would be a much better place.

Bringing up their 5 year old boy, Giosué (Giorgio Cantarini), the war continues without them noticing until one fateful day when the Germans arrest Guido and his son in their bookshop, and transfer them to a concentraction camp. Dora demands to be taken too, thus Guido is devastated to see his non-Jewish wife board the train. Protecting his son from the vile truth, Guido tells Giosué that they are just on a big hoilday, and he turns the camp into a big game for Giosué, claiming that they must win 1000 points to win a real tank and leave. His elderly uncle, however, is on a different "team" and is lead towards the showers first. Guido must complete "tasks" for the camp "moderators" (ie. the Nazi SS), while avoiding the impending fate with everything he can offer. His quick thinking saves Giosué from the truth when a German officer requires a translator. Despite not speaking a word of German, Guido steps forward and makes up the "Regole del Campo" from the German's body language, claiming that tanks, scoreboards and games of Hide and Seek litter the camp, while cleverly stating that Giosué cannot cry, ask for his mother or declared he's hungry, resulting in the loss of the "game", in other words, death. Giosué later refuses to take a shower, and unknowingly escapes being gased, so Guido hides him with the help of other Italian prisoners, since there are no other children. Playing messages over the tannoy for Dora, kept prisoner on the other side of the camp, the family build up hope, only to be diminuished by the SS. With the help of Guido's former German friend, Herr Lessing, Guido can hide Giosué amongst the German children, while waiting the German Officer's meals. With the days becoming steadily worse, Guido realises that time is short and that he must make certain sacrifices if his son is ever to see the tanks roll over the hills, and be reunited with his mother. Giosué is pessimistic, and doesn't believe that there are any real tanks or games. Hiding Giosué in a junction box for the last time, telling him that everyone is looking for him, Guido jeapordises his own survival to prevent the Germans discovering Giosué, while he attempts to free Dora, giving his own life away at the same time. The Americans break into the seemingly deserted camp the following morning. Giosué immerges just as a tank pulls around the corner.
