影片是潘辰的银幕处女秀。 因为潘辰从来不敢看恐怖片，所以她在拍摄时需要克服心理障碍。 潘辰为了体验角色特意看了许多惊悚片结果被吓到。 因为几位主演都没有准时到达拍摄地，剧组工作人员到达拍摄地时天色骤变，第一场戏拖了五天才开机。 潘辰表示拍摄期间可能遭遇了鬼压身。 因为电影《九层妖塔》名字相近，为防止恶评，《九层妖楼》片方将影片更名为《诡打墙》
