早在幾年前，我就有幸拜讀了瑪格麗特·米切爾的小說《飄》，但那時卻無法體會出作者的深刻含義，只是很喜歡《飄》這個名字，她帶著淡淡的哀傷和感懷，似乎又帶著對女主人公的命運的悲嘆，卻不知所謂的「飄」並非指的單獨的個體，他（她）們是一群人。他（她）們自命不凡，一切都相信自己，雖然擁有強大的靈魂與軀體，卻無力抗爭冥冥中命運之指的輕撥倩弄，最終還是用一句：tomorrow
is
another
day.
他（她）們失敗了，卻始終相信有明天，這成為了他（她）們失敗的主要原因。
幾年後的今天，在我第一次觸碰到由《飄》改編的《亂世佳人》時便被那凄美的愛情深深吸引，然而，《亂世佳人》帶給我們的不僅是「永恆的愛情蘊於宏大的戰爭中」的主題，還有它光顯之後的深思。南部種植園經濟由興盛到崩潰、奴隸主生活由驕奢淫逸到窮途末路、奴隸主階級由瘋狂挑起戰爭直至失敗死亡、奴隸制經濟為資本主義經濟所取代這一歷史規律從《亂世佳人》中得到體現。從影片中，我了解了瑪格麗特·米切爾《飄》中真正所要傳達的是：珍惜身邊美好的，不要等到失去了才去爭取。正是這樣的主題帶給人們的震撼，造就了好萊塢電影史上最值得驕傲的曠世巨片,奧斯卡史上一個不可逾越的「至高點」。

Pride and Prejudice's appreciation
Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this film is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters. The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classicfilms. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn』t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the film, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this film is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century.
The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen』s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this film.
The first sentence in this film is impressive. It reads: 「It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife」. The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.
People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her film is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After finishing seeing this film, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.
I couldn』t forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father』s possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way to become wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. Jane Austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century.
In 「Pride and Prejudice」, the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don』t have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married.
In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of 「money determines everything」 is still rooted in some people』s mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children』s marriages. Ecation background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one』s marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can』t help thinking: can money determine everything?
Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote 「Pride and Prejudice」, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this film surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this film prominent and classic. Today, her film still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.
F. 怎麼欣賞美國大片
我覺得大片首先你得在看之前就對它有一定的大體了解，而不是單純地看劇情，就拿《肖申克的救贖》來說吧，在米飯中發現的蟲子是一條自然死亡的，而找時導演組花了不少的力氣因為拍攝的全程都有一個什麼組織（忘記了）監控的；監獄里射殺死整人的那個其實是監獄真正的監獄長；那個黑人（不好意思，看久了，忘記他名字了）年輕時的照片是他兒子的；男豬在電影里爬下水道時裡面的污水其實是巧克力醬。這樣會覺得看電影的時候不是只在看一個故事，而是導演精心准備的一個禮物。
我覺得還可以在看電影的時候琢磨一下攝影機與人物的關系，好的電影這些處理起來是很棒的，比方在《雲上的日子（Beyond the Clouds）》里剛開始的第一段故事裡男豬從遠處的路上將車開到將要與女主見面的小店的時候的那個長鏡頭我覺得安東尼奧尼就處理的很好，不愧為大師啊。
總的來說，電影的主題與中心思想我覺得不同的人理解可以很不一樣的，從電影的形式與風格方面來理解的話就可以對電影有不同角度的理解，這反而是我比較喜歡的，你可以試著這樣子，說不定會有收獲哦。

The story may sound simple, but the truth behind the words is remarkable. When I heard the name of the film first time, I considered the Shawshank to be a man』 name, but in face it is a jail——a hell in the world. Not only for the inhumanity of the jailors——they behaved brutally; but also for the jail gnawed at people』 heart by keeping them waiting and waiting as life passed. It seemed that only those utterly worthless people who gave up everything could survive. That』s where the story happened.
The part impressed me most is when Andy got out of the jai. He extended his arms in front of him in the heavy rain as if he were welcoming the fresh air and the freedom. At that moment, I saw the faith win the darkness, discharging light dazzling the eyes in the dark blue sky. Under the light, I could feel my recreant innermost being shivering as his voice said: 「Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!」
That』s why I like this film: it encourages people to fight to preserve the dignity of human beings, to appreciate the beauty of life, and the most important is to keep hope forever. He once that is born, that is die. Everyone is the same. The only difference is whether busy living or busy dying.
