影片是潘辰的銀幕處女秀。 因為潘辰從來不敢看恐怖片，所以她在拍攝時需要克服心理障礙。 潘辰為了體驗角色特意看了許多驚悚片結果被嚇到。 因為幾位主演都沒有準時到達拍攝地，劇組工作人員到達拍攝地時天色驟變，第一場戲拖了五天才開機。 潘辰表示拍攝期間可能遭遇了鬼壓身。 因為電影《九層妖塔》名字相近，為防止惡評，《九層妖樓》片方將影片更名為《詭打牆》
