When he cant stand this any longer, the owner of the house says to him one day, Look, Michael, can you please not shake off your boots like that? The whole house rattles, it wakes up the baby and she grizzles for hours. Michael is very apologetic and promises not to do it again. That night he comes home and shakes off one boot CRASH! then remembers his promise, takes the other one off and puts it down ever so gently, then rolls himself in his blankets and goes to sleep. Half an hour later comes an agonized cry from next door, For Gods sake, drop the other boot so we can all go to sleep!
