Life is beautiful （意大利电影美丽人生）is a 1997 Italian film which tells the story of a Jewish Italian, Guido who must employ his fertile imagination to help his family ring their internment in a Nazi concentration camp.
The first half of the movie is a whimsical, romantic, somewhat slapstick comedy set in the years before World War II.Guido is both funny and charismatic, especially when he romances a local school teacher, Dora. Several years pass in which Guido and Dora marry and have a son, Giosuè .
In the second half of the film, World War II has already begun. Guido, Uncle Eliseo and Giosuè are forced onto a train and taken to a concentration camp on Giosuè's birthday. Despite being a non-Jew, Dora demands to be on the same train to join her family and is permitted to do so.
In the camp, Guido hides his son from the Nazi guards, sneaks him food and tries to humor him in an attempt to keep up Giosuè's spirits, Guido convinces him that the camp is just a game.
At last, he sacrificed his life to complete the mission of the family guardian. As his son recalled, “this is a simple story, but not an easy one to tell! Like a fable there is sorrow, and , like a fable, it is full of wonder and happiness!” At last, even though it reached his end of life, he still collected his son’s sweetest smile.
Guido’s life story showed that we will own a beautiful life on condition that we always believe that it is beautiful. In this case, though life is sometimes covered by darkness, we are able to take it just as transient as a fleeting cloud.

海上钢琴师THE LEGEND OF 1900
An story of a man who could do anything…
except be ordinary.
1900, an abandoned baby which is taken care by one of the crews in the ship, Virginia. 1900 was the year which the crew discovered the baby, thus, the boy was named 1900. The crew dies several years later and at that time, 1900 is entirely isolated. He is a genius and he knows how to play the piano without being taught. He gets his own style and wins the applause of passengers. However, he isn’t happy at all. What he is searching for is love and care, yet he cannot find them.
On the shipboard, a young, pure, beautiful girl has caught his attention. He loves the girl and wants to send her a gift. He doesn’t know how to initiate the conversation. 1900 practices again and again in the cabinet. He is too timid to send the girl his record. His personality makes him miss a chance.
1900 is very unhappy and breaks the record. Again, he just keeps his mouth shut and never shares with the others. It is obvious that he no longer wants to share; he is too tired to find opportunities to air his feeling.
He takes the piano as an example, “There are finite keys on the piano”, and he can make “infinite music” out of it. However, the world is a piano that is too big for him. There are infinite keys in the world, how can he make music out of it? It implies that there are so many changes in the world; he can hardly face the challenges. “There are thousands of streets in the city…which one should I choose to die?”
Fame, fortune, girl can’t make him tread on land. 1900 chooses to die on the ship rather than getting off. The marvelous life of 1900 makes him become the legend.
He’s a man so brave, that he can play the imaginary piano when exploded with the ship he was born, lived and died in. Yet he’s a man so scared, that he cannot face the infinite city life we are living everyday. He’s a man so intelligent, that he can play the piano as if he has four arms. Yet he’s a man so stupid, that he chose to gone with the wind while he’s other choice could be marrying a beautiful woman and having a child. He’s a man so perceptive, that he could use his music language to describe exactly others’ feelings. Yet he’s a man so insensitive that he’d rather disappear after a gentle kiss on his beloved while she’s asleep than unburden himself and tell her “I Love U”.
Only a man like him can dance with the piano in a terrifying storm. Only a man like him can give up the first two bouts of a el, and beat the competitor entirely, convincingly, potently in the last bout. Only a man like him... can have such a beautiful story to tell...

Fanfan is a French movie telling a romatic story.The hero was an intern with an unhappy childhood who had already got a fiancée.But,he didn't love her.He loved an other girl named Fanfan who loved him as well.However he was not going to marry Fanfan,because he thought love would go after marriage.Of course Fanfan disagreed with him.So she encouraged him in all ways,until he got over of his fears and accepted her as a result.
I like Fanfan because she was honest and sweet,who showed great courage chasing happiness belonged to her.I was encouraged by her too,so I like this movie.By the way,the scene is beautiful and enjoyable to watch
