◎简 介
在犯罪率居高不下的美国，向来不缺少有着传奇经历的大哥或是犯罪专家们。近年来，最为吸引眼球的当数大毒枭杰西·詹姆斯——美国联邦调查局有史以来最年轻头号通辑犯。杰西·詹姆斯还在少年时期就凭借自己的聪明才智在美国与加大拿交界地区建立起了一个巨大的贩毒网。十几岁的他就“赚”了足够的钱在西山区为自己购置了一座豪华别墅，他手下还网罗了数十名二十几岁的“兄弟”为自己卖命。“著名”的杰西甚至上过洛杉矶当地著名杂志的封面，他的“集团”成员则是以来自富家子弟而闻名，这些男孩大都生在家境富裕但不完整的家庭，他们当中没有人缺钱，只是在家庭破裂后失去自我而自愿加入了以杰西为首的贩毒集团。

2000年，一直逍遥法外的杰西因为帮派内部的毒品纠纷绑架一名15岁少年，这名少年正是他所怀疑的帮派内鬼的弟弟，而二人的矛盾愈演愈烈，杰西最终痛下毒手杀害了少年。杰西手下几名参与此事的帮凶被当地警察抓获，而杰西却从中成功逃脱。从那以后，这位集杀人贩毒等无恶不作的年轻人便一跃登上美国十大通辑犯之列，与警方展开了长达数年的“拉锯战”，直至去年三月才最终在巴西落网。《阿尔法狗》正是讲述杰西这段“非比寻常”人生经历的影片。

初登南极这块雪白冰雪覆盖的土地，探险队员们都被眼前美丽的景色所吸引，然而，他们却丝毫没有预想到，随着对极地的慢慢深入，更加恶劣的天气以及极为凶险的自然环境将带给他们越来越多的麻烦，甚至是对生存的极大挑战。果真，在乘着狗拉雪橇前进几日之后的他们遭遇了一场空前的暴风雪，温度自然也是急剧下降。队员们自然是对眼前的状况有些准备不足。其间，更加危险的一幕也“适时”地发生了——其中一名队员不慎踩破了薄冰，掉进了刺骨的冰水当中，还好有勇敢的雪橇犬相助，及时地将绳索送到落水队员手中，令队友将其拉出险境。然而，眼前这场突如其来的猛烈的暴风雪却真的无法躲避了。阻断了他们的前进之路不说，几个人的生命也收到严重的威胁。无奈之下，眼看风雪势越来越凶猛的队员们只能被迫放弃一路上帮助他们的伙伴——雪橇狗，让其各自逃命去吧。
被抛弃的雪橇狗们拼命脱绳索以从雪崩中逃生，为了生存下去，它们挣扎着互相依靠，共同抵御严寒积雪的同时，还要为了填饱肚子与身形庞大的海豹搏斗。此时的八条雪橇犬就像生死一线的好兄弟一般，相互支持着。探险队的一行三人终于安全返回了基地，但冰雪中雪橇狗们拼命前行的景象却一直缠绕着他们。终于，抵不过良心的谴责，三个人同时决定，无论冒着怎样的危险，都要将他们忠诚的伙伴们拯救出冰雪严寒……

本片主角多哥是挪威雪橇高手里昂哈德·瑟帕拉（威廉·达福饰）的一只领头犬，因机智、卓越的领导力和敏锐的直觉备受称赞。

瑟帕拉被委任传送这场接力中最危险的一段，其他狗狗奔跑里程在50公里左右，但多哥的奔跑的里程是其他狗狗的好几倍，高达425公里，总共耗费大约5天时间。

多哥带着其他雪橇犬从诺姆到奴拉托接收那批免疫血清，平均温度零下30度，最危险的路段零下65度！而且要顶着七级以上强风，以及在奔跑在结着薄冰的海上，环境恶劣到无法想象。最终，多哥和其他狗狗们配合，完成了任务。
