少女伊西亞（塞伊拉·沃西 Zaira Wasim 飾）擁有著一副天生的好嗓子，對唱歌充滿了熱愛的她做夢都想成為一名歌星。然而，伊西亞生活在一個不自由的家庭之中，母親娜吉瑪（梅·維賈 Meher Vij 飾）常常遭到性格爆裂獨斷專橫的父親法魯克（拉傑·阿晶 Raj Arjun 飾）的拳腳相向，伊西亞知道，想讓父親支持自己的音樂夢想是完全不可能的事情。
某日，母親賣掉了金項鏈給伊西亞買了一台電腦，很快，伊西亞便發現，雖然無法再現實里實現夢想，但是網路中存在著更廣闊的舞台。伊西亞錄制了一段蒙著臉自彈自唱的視屏上傳到了優兔網上，沒想到收獲了異常熱烈的反響，著名音樂人夏克提（阿米爾·汗 Aamir Khan 飾）亦向她拋出了橄欖枝。

阿米爾·汗的電影都非常好看，從三傻大鬧寶萊塢認識他的，但是這部《神秘巨星》我個人覺得並不是很好。

可能是對阿米爾汗的期待有點太高了，本以為這部影片也能傳達一種與世俗抗爭的力量，但過多的硬傷和過於俗套的劇情讓這部影片淪為我心目中阿米爾汗最差的一部電影。
