為了保護妮娜的人身安全，警方任命退伍老兵麥克斯到妮娜身邊作為她的隨身保鏢，但是妮娜身邊一直跟著一個脾氣怪異的老男人讓妮娜特別不適應，但是一次次的危險過後，隨著時間的流逝，麥克斯的可靠帶給了妮娜前所未有的安全感。鐵漢大叔與蘿莉少女的組合，頗有一點《這個殺手不太冷》的味道。男主給人一種沉默、滄桑、剛毅、內斂的印象。單手換彈夾的動作簡直帥炸天。影片所包含的驚悚、動作和感情元素都很飽滿，槍戰情節雖然沒什麼新鮮感卻也依舊緊張感十足。

影片中的硬漢大叔為了救妮娜讓妮娜先走的情節，真的感動到我了。這部電影又叫做《孤膽保鏢》，雖然是照搬了好萊塢式的劇情，但是導演卻拍出了德國人的硬漢形象特有的堅毅質感。是德國動作影片里的少有的佳作，非常值得一看。
