幕後製作
顛覆兼復古 迪士尼的最新動畫電影《公主和青蛙》對傳統的童話來了一次完全的顛覆，對於這一點，導演兼編劇羅恩·克萊蒙茲說：「我們想把故事做得讓人有眼前一亮的感覺。前幾年的《魔法奇緣》里，對於傳統王子公主的故事已經做出了一次勇敢的嘗試，《魔法奇緣》的成功讓我們感到有可能把這種理念延續下去，於是我們仍然選擇了王子公主的題材進行再次創新，也許會有觀眾一開始對《公主和青蛙》感到不能接受，但我希望持有這種感覺的人能夠看完整部電影，它一定會打消你的疑慮，事實上這部電影依然很『迪士尼』。」 這次《公主和青蛙》里最大的顛覆莫過於公主的黑人身份，這在童話故事裡相當罕見，究竟是什麼原因使得主創者產生這個念頭的？羅恩·克萊蒙茲說：「這首先要提到的是我們計劃把故事從中世紀搬到現代，但是又不能太過於現代，因為這樣會讓人覺得我們還在繼續著《魔法奇緣》的感覺，因此我們把故事背景設置在工業革命之後的年代。至於把故事從歐洲搬到新奧爾良，這是我們一開始就決定的，我們想製作一部『美國夢』的電影，當觀眾發現這么熟悉的故事竟然完全改變了時間地點與人物，這種奇妙的落差會讓大家覺得很有意思吧？最後，我們決定不再讓公主是一位白人，這么做我們其實並沒有想太多，感覺一切都是順其自然，因為新奧爾良有很多優秀的黑人藝術家，公主是黑人，亦算是我們的一種致敬吧。」 擁有如此多創新的《公主和青蛙》，卻在技術層面走了「回頭路」，跟當下大行其道的3D動畫片不同，《公主和青蛙》搖身一變，成為迪士尼最擅長的2D畫風。對於這么做的原因，本片的另一位導演約翰·馬斯克說：「每年都有很多的3D動畫片，我們也很清楚的意識到現在的動畫片已經是3D的時代。起初我們也的確考慮到把這個淘寶皇冠店故事做成3D版本，但很快我們就明白這是不可能的，我無法想像2D世界的公主變成3D之後的樣子。而且，我非常狂熱的迷戀手繪，我覺得手繪動畫有著其他藝術表現形式無可比擬的魅力，而且我想大家也已經太久沒有看到2D動畫片，《公主和青蛙》或許能填補大家的這個空白。」 對於復古的畫風，為王子配音的布魯諾·坎波斯也大為贊同：「2D和3D帶給觀眾的感覺是不一樣的，尤其是小孩子，我覺得2D動畫片更加富有想像力，因為3D動畫更接近真實社會，而為了這種真實，常常會放棄很多天馬行空的想法。所以《公主和青蛙》選擇用2D方式來表達，我覺得非常有趣，而且我覺得這種故事從小在我們印象里就是屬於2D的，如果用3D來展現，或許會讓很多觀眾覺得比較奇怪吧？至少我是這么想的。」 互動的配音 為《公主和青蛙》里那位黑人公主配音的演員，是因《追夢女郎》而走紅的阿尼卡·諾尼·羅斯，雖然她的參演經驗並不多，但這可並不代表阿尼卡·諾尼·羅斯的點子也不多，就算是《公主和青蛙》僅僅只是一部配音作品，阿尼卡·諾尼·羅斯也沒忘向導演灌輸自己的意見：「當我知道迪士尼要把這部動畫的服裝搭配主角做成一個黑人女孩的時候，我就覺得自己應該說點什麼了，因為這么多的銀幕上的公主，黑人實在是太少了！每個女孩從小都有公主的夢，我也不例外，我把自己小時候許多幻想的事情都告訴了導演，我希望他們能夠明白一個有著公主夢的黑人女孩都在想什麼。」 為王子配音的布魯諾·坎波斯也說起了和影片內外的互動：「本片讓我印象深刻的地方還有一點，就是它並非拍到快完了才讓演員開始配音，而是到某個階段就讓演員一起參與，我們必須要把角色的那種情感用聲音表達出來，而有時候我們會覺得角色的動作或者表情不應該是那個樣子，這個時候我會停下來和導演溝通，如果覺得確實可行，他們也會對那些細節進行更改。」 原聲音樂： 1 Never Knew I Needed - Ne-Yo 2 Down In New Orleans (Prologue) - Anika Noni Rose 3 Down In New Orleans - Dr. John 4 Almost There - Anika Noni Rose 5 Friends On the Other Side - Keith David 6 When We're Human (feat.
